In Rome at the Galleria Corsini in Trastevere, from 28 October 2015 to 18 January 2016, interested persons can admire numerous paintings by Mattia Preti.

The exhibition is organized to commemorate the great artist born in Calabria in 1613 and died in Malta in 1699.
Mattia Preti came to Rome in 1630, twenty years after the death of Caravaggio and during his long stay in Rome he knew the painting of Caravaggio, Guercino, Giovanni Lanfranco and others.
